PHILIP- Lifestyle Guy on TV5

As TV5 makes promising shows in the showbiz industry, another beautiful and inspiring lifestyle show from the said network will be aired  on October 27, 2013, Sunday, 11 am to 12 noon entitled: Philip- Lifestyle Guy.

Oh but wait, who's Philip?

Philip Abadicio has always been associated with the success of the products and brands he launched for his clients. As a PR practitioner, he established RPA & Communicate where he mastered the ropes of the lifestyle industry. It also brought out the friendliest and most intuitive side of his personality as captured on-cam in his latest quest as lifestyle TV host on TV5’s News channel, Aksyon TV. He adds color to the viewing experience with a lifestyle magazine and talk show on its second season called “It’s More Fun with Philip” every Sunday at 8:30 pm.

Philip – Lifestyle Guy will be visually appealing, culturally enriching, and gastronomically appetizing with the different segments in every episode such as Philip’s Finds, a showcase of the hippest trends, newest dining options, chill spots, fitness forays, and other fab finds in the metro. It is more interactive as the host gives the viewers a chance to sample the featured items by simply tweeting, sharing their comments on social media or texting. Phil-up! Is a segment where people from different walks of life would personally try the featured products or services. Even the bumper’s segments are hilariously smart, like I Saw the Sign, Whatchathink? Asking the audience on their thoughts about trivial questions and Weblog discusses news bits on the online lifestyle source, www.StyleRPA.com, of which Philip Abadicio is editor-in-chief.

Philip – Lifestyle Guy is directed by Dave Hukom and written by Yasmine Holes. You can also find out about the contests, winners and other announcements on their social media accounts: like Philip Lifestyle Guy on Facebook and follow @LifestylePhilip on Twitter.

Freeway Art: Filipino Master Collector's Series

Freeway, considered as one of the most innovative of local brands, is proud to present its latest historical collection. With its breakthrough National Artist Collector’s Series, the works of the country's most revered National Artists are immortalized through its fashion collection.

For this Holiday, Freeway held an event last October 10, 2013 at the Lopez Memorial Museum in Pasig City. Freeway chose to honor a man whose works of art have stood the test of time and whose masterpieces still continue to live on in the hearts of many. This man is none other than Juan Luna, Filipino Master for Visual Arts.

It was definitely a grand fusion of art and fashion as the event was attended by several prominent figures from both ends such as fashion bloggers, art enthusiasts, critics, media and many more. Of course, the celebration of Juan Luna wouldn't be complete without the works of Juan Luna himself.

During the event, we were able to view his masterpieces inside the museum and the other Filipino Artists’ masterpieces. But the real highlight of the event was the exclusive fashion show! Guests including us were able to catch a glimpse of the first ever Filipino Masters Collector’s Series Juan Luna Collection as the 24 piece debut collection was unveiled, including a few shirts for men. The fashion show showcased highlight famous Luna pieces such as El Flautista, I am Cold, Una Dama Francesca, Espana y Filipinas, Fencing Positions, Rice Harvesting, Various Subjects and A Roman. Models worked the runway in shoes from Janilyn for the ladies and were glammed up by Piandre Salon for their hair and VMV Hypoallergenics for their make-up.

Truly, the event was something to remember not only historically but also an appreciation for fashion as Freeway shared another superb and historical figure for the entire art and fashion society to see.
