Eaglet's Christmas Treat

November 21, 2012 – Manila Bulletin’s Christmas Party was held at the Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center in Quezon City. The said event is for their Quezon City branch vendors and dealers who contributed to the success of Manila Bulletin throughout the year. There were over 700 vendors attended the event.  The program was organized properly and accordingly to their plans.

Before you've entered the park, you should sign first at their Registration Booth to see if you have a ticket and your name was listed on their record. A ticket was given to all the vendors and dealers. Tickets were divided into 4 parts which they will use on the whole program. The first part called them the raffle stub that could give you a chance to win exciting prizes.

The second part is the gift stub. You’ll receive 3 kilos of rice and a pail of Christmas food ingredients. The third part called them the food stub to have the free Max’s lunch meal. Max’s meal was delicious and could full your tummy! Last part is the claim stub. You will can only use that if you won in the raffle draw.

Vendors and dealers tried their luck in the raffle draw. They wait patiently for their name to be called. Consolation prizes are given such as Globe prepaid cards worth 100 pesos, Flat Irons, Electric Fans, and Gas Stoves. Their major prices are DVD Player, Music Component, and Mountain Bicycle, and Flat Televisions. The event ended around 5 o'clock pm in the afternoon.

It was such a great experience for me to join that kind of event because you will meet different kind of people who just want to enjoy and leave their lives as a newspaper vendor or dealer. So much thanks to my mom because without her I could not have joined the event. I’m also proud to say that my mom belongs to them.

Goldilocks' Banana Muffin

Bananas as we all knew are excellent source of Vitamin B6, insoluble fiber, vitamin C, manganese and potassium. It can also prevent some diseases like breast cancer for women and may reduce the risk of colorectal cancer. But for me, it’s not just a simple and nutritious banana; it’s my favorite fruit when it comes in bread flavors.

There are many ways on how we can enjoy eating banana. We can cooked them as a garnish, eat as a dessert and my most favorite way was to bake it. All of us can call it, banana cake, banana bread or even banana muffin.

One of my favorite baked bananas is from Goldilocks Bakeshop not only because of their good quality food products but also the mouth-watering taste of their baked banana muffins. As far as I know, it costs only 23 pesos and you’ll already enjoy eating those!

My dad always brought me Goldilocks Banana Muffin and fortunately, I got obsessed! I ate it at breakfast, lunch and even at dinner. My obsession on that cake bothers my parents but whatever bothers them, I just simply love eating Goldilocks Banana Muffin!

There are other Goldilocks Muffins available such as Blueberry and Chocolate flavor but if I were you I would try first Banana Muffin. I am pretty sure you will not regret it!

My First Baby!

This was the first write up that I’m going to post here in my baby blog site. Now, I’m just want to tell a story on how I end up writing here even I’m too busy doing school works. Hope you've enjoyed this little story and the rest of my posts in the near future.

I am a normal yet an achiever 2nd year college student from Polytechnic University of the Philippines in Sta. Mesa, Manila taking Marketing Management even though I am better with Broadcasting Communications.  I’m a courteous daughter of my father and mother and a nice friend to anyone. I just believe that I only need to study for the future and reach for my dreams.

This is me, Jero Anne Mae Perocillo Payang

October 11, 2012, I have to go to my ninang’s house to do a little favor for me in my final presentation in my subject which is website retailing. I am also excited to see her at that time because I missed her so much. When I had arrived in their residence, Ninang Joy Mendiola together with her husband, Ninong John Mendiola welcomed me. Ninang Joy told me that she’s not familiar with website because she only does blogging. In the same time and place my fortune in writing has began.

She taught me the basics of blogging and how the “blog world” revolves around us. I was very surprised because I felt it is where my heart really belongs to. Writes, interviews and meet people, I like doing those things. I’d tried making my own blog and here it is.

Even though I am a Marketing student, I will never forget my passion in writing. Writing essays, news, stories and scripts are my first love. Whenever I write something, I am with myself; I'm in my world.

Before I end this, I would like to dedicate this blog and express my gratitude to my favorite ninang, Ms. Joy Mendiola for being the most thoughtful, unselfish and JOYFUL second parent. She was so cool and whenever we’re together it feels like I’m just with my other friends. Thanks ninang for being always around to help and guide me whatever problem or situation it is.

Me and Ninang Joy Mendiola

To my readers and followers, hope you’ll love my blog as you love the others. This might just a simple blog to you but for me; this will be the start of building my dreams and a start of better something new.
