Torn Between Three Hotties

Last time, my Ninang Joy invited me to go with her on an event somewhere in Greenhills. It was the Blue Water Day Spa Event held in Chili's Greenhills. There are lot of bloggers who are chatting with each other, saying hi and hello to another, eating some appetizers and sipping their drinks. Then, when the host of the event introduces the artist that they invited, I was shocked because a handsome and hot Fabio Ide is in the house!

Fabio Ide

He's very nice and approachable. I can say that even he's not a pure Filipino he knows how to interact with different nationality.

As the event goes on, another shocking thing left me jaw- dropped, not just one but another two handsome and hot guys enter the resto! The Semerad Twins!

Anthony and David

See? Who can resist these handsome faces once you were with them? For me, little shyness and a touch of being Dalagang Filipina as well. They are truly Filipino in heart even they are not Filipino in blood.

Torn between Three Hotties :)

It feels like heaven being with them not because they are tall, handsome and hot guys but because they are kind, nice, and a true Filipino not by blood but by heart.

Trajectories:19th Century Filipino Masters

Before the Freeway fashion show happened, we've got the chance to view the different masterpieces of our Filipino Artists from past 'till now inside the Eugenio Lopez Museum and Library. It was part of the Freeway event in relation to their National Artists Collector's Series, the works of Juan Luna, Filipino Master for Visual Arts.

Freeway held the event in Lopez Museum and Library that showcases a number of key pieces from their collection exhibition, Trajectories. Works of 19th Century Filipino Masters Juan Luna and Felix Resurreccion Hidalgo will take center stage, together with works of conservatives Juan Arellano, Fabian de la Rosa, and Fernando Amorsolo as well as works by modernists Victorio Edades, Nena Saguil, Botong Francisco, H.R. Ocampo, and Fernando Zobel, just to name a few. Pottery from the Calatagan excavation, rare Filipiniana books, Philippine maps dating back to the 16th century, and early colonial Tipos del Pais prints will complete the exhibition.

Trajectories aims to examine the way the museum collection grew in relation to the strengths and tastes of the different people who directed the museum. Emphasis will be given on understanding how Lopez family members, who took the reins of the privately-owned museum and library, grew the collection into one of the most comprehensive Filipiniana collection accessible to the public.

Freeway Art: Filipino Master Collector's Series

Freeway, considered as one of the most innovative of local brands, is proud to present its latest historical collection. With its breakthrough National Artist Collector’s Series, the works of the country's most revered National Artists are immortalized through its fashion collection.

For this Holiday, Freeway held an event last October 10, 2013 at the Lopez Memorial Museum in Pasig City. Freeway chose to honor a man whose works of art have stood the test of time and whose masterpieces still continue to live on in the hearts of many. This man is none other than Juan Luna, Filipino Master for Visual Arts.

It was definitely a grand fusion of art and fashion as the event was attended by several prominent figures from both ends such as fashion bloggers, art enthusiasts, critics, media and many more. Of course, the celebration of Juan Luna wouldn't be complete without the works of Juan Luna himself.

During the event, we were able to view his masterpieces inside the museum and the other Filipino Artists’ masterpieces. But the real highlight of the event was the exclusive fashion show! Guests including us were able to catch a glimpse of the first ever Filipino Masters Collector’s Series Juan Luna Collection as the 24 piece debut collection was unveiled, including a few shirts for men. The fashion show showcased highlight famous Luna pieces such as El Flautista, I am Cold, Una Dama Francesca, Espana y Filipinas, Fencing Positions, Rice Harvesting, Various Subjects and A Roman. Models worked the runway in shoes from Janilyn for the ladies and were glammed up by Piandre Salon for their hair and VMV Hypoallergenics for their make-up.

Truly, the event was something to remember not only historically but also an appreciation for fashion as Freeway shared another superb and historical figure for the entire art and fashion society to see.
