My last 18th birthday was quite normal like my
past birthday celebrations. However, because of those people who loved me, I
was very lucky to have my 18th birthday celebration on one of the
Japanese Restaurant here in the Philippines, the Tempura Japanese Grill. Together with my tita whom I owe my
educational and financial assistance when I was in grade school, we chose to
eat in Tempura because we both want Japanese foods and it was our first time to
eat here.
Unlike other Japanese Restaurants, Tempura Japanese Grill
concept is to offer good food at reasonable price. And that was it! They really
offer authentic Japanese foods.
The first food served was our Japanese Milk Tea, Php 80.00. The serving of foods are quite too long so you better have some conversations if you were with someone.
It takes couple of minutes before our appetizer was served, California Maki (rolled maki with kani, mango, ebiko and Japanese mayo) 4 pcs., Php 90.00.
Our main dishes, Curry Gomoku Yakisoba *recommended* ( Savory curry yakisoba served with ika and pork), Php 180.00.
With our Raisu, choices of rice from Japanese cuisine. We ordered, Chahan Rice (Fried rice mixed with ground pork, vegetables and egg), Php 55.00.
Our main dish, Spareribs Sansho Yaki *recommended* (Grilled spareribs cooked in house specialty sauce served with vegetables and sprinkled with Japanese pepper), Php 275.00.
