Year of the Longest Run

The year 2013 has been a year of grace for everyone. Many things happened that we could say all are memorable. But we should not stay in what 2013 brought to us. Instead, we should welcome and face this new year, the year of 2014, the year of the wooden horse.

As we welcome 2014, the year of the wooden horse, would bring luck in terms of travel, adventure, decisive actions but victorious ones and also surprising romances. According to Chinese Astrology, Year of the Horse (2014, 2002, 1990, 1978, 1966, 1954, 1942, 1930, 1918, 1906) is considered a fortunate year that would bring luck and good things.

Horse’s cycle is the seventh earthly branch in Chinese medicine and symbolizes June, the fifth lunar month. June is the time of Gemini, Horse’s western counterpart. In the summer month of June there is powerful yang chi, and yin chi starts to settle. The sun is brightest and the plants are strong, having reached maturity. In Chinese medicine, Horse’s earthly branch is the element of Fire.

People who were born in the year of the horse are cheerful, bright, friendly and fun loving. Their keen judgment and natural intuition often help them make the right decisions throughout their life. They love going to parties and make people laugh and happy.

Year of the Horse is a year that we should treasure. Trials, sacrifices, happiness, and luck are just part of everyday life. So, don’t live with predictions, hesitations and doubts. Live your life to the fullest because nothing is impossible if you will believe that every day is a great day.
